A say in Player of the Match
On most junior teams the coach opens voting after the whistle. You get an hour, you vote on behalf of your child, and you cannot vote for your own.
Junior teams stay team-level
For juniors, supporters see the team score and nothing per-child. Kids are not ranked against each other in front of an audience. Senior teams add scorers and stats.
Nothing to wear or charge
No GPS units, no wearables, no hardware. The coach logs the game on a phone or tablet, and it works with no reception at the ground.
About your child’s privacy
Kickd holds your child’s name, shirt number, the positions their coach has tagged them for, and the playing time and statistics recorded during matches. It does not collect health information, photographs, home addresses or school details.
Children under 13 never have their own account. From 13 a player can have a limited login — their own statistics and votes, nothing else — and only where you have given explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Kickd is the app your child's coach uses to run match day. Parents and supporters follow the game live, vote for Player of the Match, and never pay — the coach or the club covers it.
Do parents pay for Kickd?
No. Parents, players and supporters use Kickd free, and that is not a trial. The coach pays for their team or the club covers every team, and families are never billed. There is no card to enter and nothing to cancel.
How do I join my child’s team on Kickd?
Your coach shares a join code from inside the app. Download Kickd on iPhone or Android, enter the code, and you are linked to the team. If the code will not work, email hello@kickd.au with your child’s team and club name.
What can I see during the match?
The live score and match clock as the coach runs the game, from anywhere. For junior teams that is the team score and match progress only. For senior teams it also includes scorers and match statistics.
Why can I not see my junior child’s individual stats?
By design. For junior teams Kickd shows supporters team-level results only, so children are not ranked against each other in front of an audience. The coach still tracks every child’s minutes, which is what makes fair game time provable.
Can I vote for Player of the Match?
On most junior teams, yes. When the coach opens voting after the whistle you get an hour to cast a Players’ Player pick on behalf of your child, and you cannot vote for your own child. Results stay hidden until the window closes.
Can my teenager have their own login?
From 13, and only with your explicit consent. You set it up from the Team tab, confirm you are their parent or guardian, and they get an invite to claim. A player account can only view their own statistics and vote — no comments, no photos, no messaging — and you can withdraw it at any time. Under-13s never have accounts.
What data does Kickd hold about my child?
Their name, shirt number, the positions the coach has tagged them for, and the playing time and match statistics recorded during games. No health information, no photos, no home address and no school. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
Does Kickd track my child with GPS or a wearable?
No. There is nothing to wear, charge or lose. Every statistic is logged by the coach or their Performance Analyst on a phone or tablet, by tap or by voice.
